Writing Again
I am finally taking time to clean up this blog. The last time I wrote here was seven years ago, but I have kept the URL around all this time. My previous focus was writing about Haskell. Mostly to try to keep up with things I learned at work, and act as a future reference for myslef. Haskell is still around, but I feel less excited about it these days. Maybe it is a sign of maturity or maybe it just feels normal after using it so long. It still has a small, but strong academic and industrial community that I will follow, but I want to expand my focus.
I want to learn more about Linux, C, computer networking and computer graphics. In the age of LLMs, I want to be even more conscious of what I consume and how I do programming. I use LLMs as tools to enhance my understanding. If work requires me to use agentic LLMs, Iām fine with that, but in my own personal projects I want to push my understanding further, not just blindly generate code.
So, cheers to being back!
